INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE, PANIPAT
This Institute was started on August 1st, 1963 and is located in a spacious modern factory type building on G.T. Road at a distance of 4 KM from the Bus Stand to Delhi near N.F.L., Panipat. Its building includes Administrative Block, Dispensary, Library, Theory, Drawing, Workshop Calculation and Science, Social Study and Apprenticeship Room and a Vehicle Stand.
The aim of Industrial Training is to provide training to both male and female students in order to provide manpower to the industrial sector as well as commercial sector etc.

In accordance with the orders of State Government and instructions issued by the Industrial Training and Vocational Education Department from time to time.
Standard of Training:
The training imparted is equivalent to that of National Trade Certificate recognized all over India. Besides this, Institute is providing free technical know financial assistance is also given in the form of stipend to certain special categories of students.
Stipend:
A stipend of Rs.45/-p.m. per student is provided on poverty-cum-merit basis of 33.33% of the total number of students on roll. The stipend is also paid to the students belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Ex-Servicemen and their dependents at the rate of Rs.100/- p.m. and Rs.40/- p.m. respectively. The students are also provided free medical aid, technical and other books relating to their training which are well stocked in the Library of this Institution. For focusing on the overall development of the training, the Institute lays great emphasis on the outdoor and indoor games and other curricular activities.
During training period, the trainees are also sent to the following Institutions for Advance Practical Training.

Besides this, a scheme has been introduced with the purpose of keeping the students away from undesirable activities and to make them responsible towards their jobs. The following activities have been planned on quarterly basis:
Apprenticeship:
An apprenticeship scheme is also available to facilitate the successful students for getting useful employment in different factories / industries.

Self Employment: 12
About 15-20 successful students each year are get absorbed under Self Employment Scheme with the help of District Employment Officer, G.M., D.I.C., Panipat and other concerned officers. The officers of different banks also co-operate in extending loans under this Scheme.

Employment:
Special efforts are also made to absorb successful student in different Industries / Establishments at Faridabad, Gurgaon and Panchkula. For this purpose, the Institute has launched as Industry-linked programme under which the students are specially prepared for Campus Interviews at this institute by well renowned factories in Haryana.
